Session type

Technical level

Raising awareness on good health Taking care of your mind and body and understanding the differences between natural and processed/ company oriented food products. ( Make raw smoothies and raw food )

I have been a raw food eater for about 6 years, being raised in India for a while with the rice/chapati diet and going to the other extreme of being raw. I have noticed several changes for the good and I am interested in sharing this knowledge with others. Hoping to give people a new view on leading healthy lifestyle and what the body really needs. I am conducting a few workshops in Chennai this month and also write health articles for UrbanAsian website.

Interest in health, nutrition, fitness or simply raw food.

Speaker bio

I have completed my Undergrad in Computer Science and Engineering, MS Engineering Management at USC and Marketing at UCLA. Being raised in a family constructed to be good Engineers and doctors, I realized the stressful life and the need to accomplish constantly is detrimental to one's health. I hence focused on Nutrition, general health and fitness ( AFPA certified nutrition consultant) and I am a dedicated Ashtanga yoga practitioner and a long distance runner. My goal is to be a source of inspiration to people, and to put across the point that mind and body is the only property we really own.

Can we talk sometime about how we can make this a workshop / Masterclass? Or should it be a lightning talk at say Society or Fringe?
