Speaker bio

I started learning Bharatanatyam from Kalaimamani Narthaki Nataraj at the age of 35. Narthaki specializes in the Tanjore Quartets tradition and rare compositions as practiced in ancient tamil temples. She is one of the top 10 artists in India and a recipient of Sangeet Natak Akademi Award from the President. Apart from learning from her, I was also associated with her in her fellowship research project she did for Sangeet Natak Akademi.

Right through my career I have always been associated with new projects, new products and new initiatives (even while working for the Murugappa Group). I officially became an entrepreneur in 2007, after receiving angel funding of Rs 100 lacs for Mango DVM from Chennai Angels.
