- Geekery (Science, Tech and Life Hacks)
- Session type
- Technical level
This is a proposal requesting for someone to speak on this topic. If you’d like to speak, leave a comment.
Break. To a have a new beginning !
Objective of the session is to debate on the much-needed LIFE TRANSFORMATIONAL BREAK at the right point of time in one’s life that will have an impact on the career and on the personal front.
The conference in itself, being a blend of mixed bag of people from various backgrounds, will add interesting aspects to debate on this topic and bring out an output to carry forward, I believe.
The session needs people who are open in their mind to add contrasting points to this topic and to outline a solution based on the debate.
In this fast paced world of pre laid tracks, Should a break be made a part of our educational system post school or during/after college for one to explore life?
To indulge in travel, arts, literature, sports, social works, startups, networking, etc., depending on one’s interest level and thought process.
To work in various environments, push one’s limits out of the comfort zone, meeting new people and socializing, thereby gaining the time to understand oneself and to design a life of what one wants to be and work towards it.
Is it the need of the hour? Why should/shouldn't we have a break? The possibilities / difficulties to make it as a part of our system. To create an ecosystem and make the platform available to everyone. The efforts to be taken immediately, etc... Or simply put, Can we make a room for this break?
Folks, Come on.. Let us debate on this !
As a nominee, I can be the moderator for this session.
I thought of having it an informal debate session, but if you guys have some experts in mind, they can be tagged in as well
A person with random experiences in life and who had the privilege to try out different things from starting up a company at the age of 19 to getting connected and working with different people from various backgrounds and multitasking in different areas. This, I believe, is why I can add value to this session as a moderator.
