Objective

The session aims to throw light into the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) sector, which is clocking an impressive growth rate and is has several business opportunities. UAVs are gaining popularity for both Civiian and Military purposes- From Obama's Drone strikes to Amazon's UAV delivery system. The session aims to walk the audience through the technology,applications and Business opportunities in this sector, Followed by Demo flight of few UAV copters and planes.

Description

The session would start with a broad introduction about the UAV market which is not quite familiar to many, followed by the technological aspects, advancements and Chanllnges in this sector and it concludes by discussing the future growth propspects and business opportunities.

The session would also have demo flights of various UAV models

Speaker bio

Sagar Bose - He has been the chief of Aerodyamics Club in BITS Pilani Goa,one of the most active aeroynamics clubs among the technical colleges in the country. He has designed built and flied over 30 plane and copter models and has done several research projects on the all the major technical aspects of aerodynamics. He has sevel published papers to his credit. Sagar Bose has also coordinated and conducted aero modelling workshops in various engineering colleges in the country. His undying passion for aerodynamics lead him to co-found BlackProp Tree, a startup that makes UAVs for civilian and Semi Military purposes.
