What factors might make patients more likely to be swayed by claims of benefit of individualized testing?
What impact do factors like a strong family history of disease have on patients' desire to identify and reduce their risk? Do these factors and their impact differ by patient characteristics such as age, sex, race/ethnicity, or socioeconomic status?
Finally can we operate a breast or prostrate just because of hereditory or genetic traits.
I would like to have a objective discussion or debate on the impact and influence of genetic profiling. Moreover how genetic profiling will change the way we percieve prevetive health care.
Example genetic study to understand skin oxidation and related treatment for youthful skin.
Genetic profiling to understand cancer risk or and thereby preventive surgery.
Finally are we going to play God
A brief understanding on DNA and moral compass
I am not the best person on this subject, but as someone who has invested time and money on a similar project i guess i could give some decent insights.
