This is a proposal requesting for someone to speak on this topic. If you’d like to speak, leave a comment.

Objective

Most often when we talk about entrepreneurs or Artists and their lifecycle, we focus on the deliverables, but neglect the person. Its alarming that reports suggest more than 60% of the Indian population to be in some form of depression. Entrepreneurs, artists and anyone who is treading their own path, which isnt engineering or being a doctor, faces it more.

This session, is to be as a Panel or Q&A session, with folks who have dealt with depression (and are open about it) and the ways they cope, and deal with it in their daily life, so that they don’t succumb to it.

Entrepreneurs and artists deal with depression in 2 ways - being a future oriented person and having core values that help you deal with crisis and success.
    I write here - www.medium.com/abhinavsree

I am a founder of 2 startups - Innoz (mobile search engine - Smsgyan) and Springr (Platform for artists). Still with Springr which transitioned from a creative hub for artists to media + technology company (our product is set to be announced in Jan and beta released in March)

I bet Paras can talk about it. He is a mental health professional and leads a reputed helpline. I am sure they have clients who fit the bill.
