An interactive session to make people aware about how active play is a necessity not just for kids but for everyone and it has been disappearing with urbanization. Also, discuss different ways to solve this and how Anthill Creations is doing this by mobilizing the communities to build sustainable DIY playscapes.
Anthill Creations aims to bring back play for all age groups by building sustainable playscapes, using contextual designs and localized resources and encouraging community participation. We are a team of 5 architects from IIT Kharagpur and have impacted more than 8500 children across 7 different cities in India and Nepal in the past 2 years. These playgrounds are completely DIY and can be built in just 5 days. Here is our recent coverage in NDTV: https://youtu.be/dGSRREYv_VY
